Despite losing about $10 million at the box office, Dredd was one hell of a movie, and one of our favorites from last year. As awesome a flick as it was, because of the business side it’s been assumed that we would not get to see it bloom into a franchise, which is a shame. However star of the movie, Karl Urban seems to think that’s not written in stone:

Game Of Thrones Review: 3.07 – The Bear and the Maiden Fair
We’re nearing the end of the season already…these seasons fly by too fast, and each episode seems to occupy the shortest hour of the week. After last week’s ‘The Climb’ it was time for this Sunday night’s ‘The Bear and the Maiden Fair’. This episode was mostly a collection of moving pieces, clearly waiting to be set in place before some impending big event, which is sure to fill out the end of the season. And if this show has taught us anything, that end is sure to be gut-wrenching.

It’s Official, Jack’s Back – “24: Live Another Day”
Well, rumor was out last week, and now it’s confirmed. We talked about it Friday, but today Fox confirmed it, 24 is coming back. The 12-episode run, title 24: Live Another Day, will begin in May of 2014 and no doubt feature Jack killing lots of bad guys. Jack Bauer is Back! Well, Maybe…
Kiefer Sutherland is in talk to reprise his role as the biggest hardass on television. That’s right kids, 24 might be getting a 9th season after attempts to convert the character into a star of the big screen have faltered, producers obviously figure it’s better to take Jack back to TV than let the character rot.
The World’s End: First Trailer for the New Flick From the “Shaun of the Dead” Team
First they had a show in the UK called Spaced, which was a bit hit or miss, but worth a watch. Then, in 2004 the creative team of Nira Park, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost made a movie; Shaun of the Dead. It was a huge cult hit and created for them a loyal fan following here in the states. Three years later they returned to make Hot Fuzz. This was maybe even better than Shaun of the Dead, though met with less fanfare. Shortly after that Wright, Frost, and Pegg made a short without producer Park which was included in the Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino double feature Grindhouse. In 2011, Pegg and Frost reunited with Park to do the movie Paul, but Edgar Wright this time was not involved. So now, the four of them are all back together again for what looks to be another gem; The World’s End (not to be confused with This is the End).
