American Gods Assembling Impressive Cast List

A lot has changed since we last talked about the television adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods

So way back in 2011, when news broke of Gaiman’s novel heading to TV screens everywhere, the story involved the need to write more books, six seasons worth of show, and you needing an HBO subscription. In the years to follow HBO brought in several writers to adapt the project, before eventually abandoning it in 2014. In 2015, Starz announced that they had now picked up the rights and would have the first season out sometime next year. In charge of things are co-showrunners Bryan Fuller (Hannibal) and Michael Green (Heroes).

Kingsman: The Golden Circle – More Casting Announced!

Just last week we talked about the upcoming Kingsman sequel and the poster they had released that day, which heavily indicates a certain character, believed to be deceased after the events of the first movie, is in fact returning.

It would seem that all the surviving characters from the first movie are signed back on for this one, and as we talked about last week, Julianne Moore and Halle Berry have joined the cast as well. Moore as the new villain “Poppy”, and Halle as the head of the Kingman’s American counterpart – the Statesman. At that time, we knew that Berry’s character (Ginger) would be joined by one of her agents, a cowboy-type named Jack. Well, now we know who is playing Jack;

10 Cloverfield Lane Is One of 2016’s Best Films

Monsters come in many forms.

Much like in 2008, Bad Robot has surprised us with the release of a Cloverfield film, and this time, both the release and the finished product are decidedly more impressive. 10 Cloverfield Lane ditches the POV camera gimmick that seemed so popular a few years ago, and instead goes a more traditional blocking and stage route. As for the release, it was hard enough to sneak a film through production in 2008, and that was before there were smartphones everywhere. The internet has made filming in secrecy much more difficult, so the fact that no one knew about this until the Super Bowl ad aired, is a feat onto itself.

In Addition to Zombies, Glenn Needs to Watch Out for Flyers…

We don’t touch on sports as much as I might like around here, but that’s cause things are already lacking any sort of laser focus. But this story gives us a fun crossover that involves The Walking Dead‘s Steven Yeun, and the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers…

Chucky 7: The Child’s Play Franchise is Coming Back Once Again

In 2013 Don Mancini returned to his most famous character, a good guy doll possessed by the spirit of serial killer Charles Lee Ray and affectionately known as Chucky. That project; The Curse of Chucky, was the sixth film in the Child’s Play series, and now Mancini is preparing to film the seventh.

Rumors have been swirling for a couple of years about another installment, but seem to have been confirmed just recently via Twitter (like how most news breaks now);
