It would Rachel Weisz is on quite a roll and is definitely in demand these days. Not only will she possibly be starring with James Franco and Mila Kunis in Sam Raimi’s take on the Wizard of Oz, but now it appears that she is in talks to be the Bourne franchise’s newest cast member alongside Jeremy Renner.

Ironclad: An Awesome Trailer and a Very Big Sword
To my knowledge there hasn’t been much in the way of a good medieval movie lately. One where guys kick tons of ass with swords, arrows, axes and blood. I don’t count Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe because honestly, I couldn’t bring myself to like it. I wanted desperately to, but to this day I’d still rather watch Prince of Thieves instead. I was terribly partial to Centurion, but I’m not so sure many others were. Iron Clad however looks like it may restore some glory to the realm of blood and steel.
As you can see the movie stars such spectacular actors as James Purefoy, Brian Cox, and Paul Giamatti. Purefoy is just coming off a short stint on the Starz series Camelot, in which he played a glorious villain named King Lot. I would say that this is an odd role for Giamatti, but he can definitely hold his own in a period piece as is proof of his role of John Adams in the HBO mini series. And Brian Cox can’t really be bad in anything, let alone something set in the olden days. Rob Roy or Troy anyone? Behold the trailer:
Uhhhhh…. whoa. I’m liking the looks of that! Giamatti looks good as a bitchy King John, unleashing his wrath on Rochester Castle against Purefoy and the Knights Templar he leads against the tyrannical king. I’m sure it’s 100 percent historically accurate too. Just look at the size of James Purefoy’s blade to make the decision on whether or not to see this movie in July.

Camelot Review: Episode 6 – “Three Journeys”
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I need something big to actually happen on Camelot. It seems like we’ve had too much set up and not enough pay off. I for one don’t really care about a story of Merlin, Leontes, Gawain and Kay on a mission to retrieve Kay’s father’s books from their old home. But that is what we were treated to and it sucked epically. I don’t mind the character development one bit and I really enjoyed the scene where Leontes and Merlin had a civil debate about their different ideologies. But the whole episode just felt like filler.

New Trailer: Real Steel
If I thought that Real Steel looked pretty horrible before, paint me excited after this latest trailer release. It revealed a little more story and more importantly a lot more robots beating the crap out of each other. And all these robots do is beat the crap out of each other, not like the Transformers who talk then fight and then talk some more. The scenes we see in here are total robot slug-fests, and they look sweet.
The movie stars Hugh Jackman as a retired ex-boxer in a world where the fights now happen between robots in the ring. I know if that happened right now I’d love that a lot more than watching these crappy boxing matches we are served nowadays and I absolutely refuse to get into UFC. The movie also stars Evangeline Lilly whom I haven’t seen a trace of since Lost, so that’s a plus. There is also child actor, Dakota Goyo, who is not the typical annoying variety of child actor. He also has one small part from a recent hit under his belt in the form of Thor, where he played the young version of the God of Thunder himself. But enough of my babbling, check out the trailer:
I’ll be there in October to see how this movie pans out. I’ve always enjoyed Hugh Jackman, even when he was in a movie that destroyed Wolverine for me, but he’ll have the chance to turn it around in the sequel. Real Steel will have to hold us over until then.
New Trailer: ‘Final Destination 5’
For those of you who don’t know about everyone else, but I’m so ready for another Final Destination movie. Seriously, I laughed at more in the third and fourth sequels than during most recent comedies. I know that may sound sick, but the deaths are so ridiculous in the movies that it’s really hard not to. These are deaths befitting Looney Toons characters not real people.
Granted, the movies should probably be strictly straight to DVD at this point but if you have a whole bunch of idiots (this guy!) willing to shell out ten bucks a ticket for some cheap laughs in shitty 3D, then they’ll still be theater releases. Check out the trailer below:
I honestly thought that they were trying to make the movie a little on the scary-serious side but there was no such luck once you seen the guy on the acupuncture bed fall off onto the floor. It looked really God awful. But hey! Tony Todd is back!

Regardless of it’s levels of suckiness, if me and about six friends can all get together and go see it so we can be the only ones in the theater laughing: I’m all in! Please comment below on this monstrosity of the cinema!
WWE Monday Night Raw Review: May 9, 2011
We get to start off Raw tonight with the announcement of a triple threat match that will determine who John Cena will face at Over the Limit in two weeks. Of course the Miz will be one, then Del Rio and the third one takes some build, but between R-Truth and Rey Mysterio it comes down to Mysterio. Although I did enjoy R Truth calling Miz Kermit because he does kind of look like him. And it was surprising to hear him call Del Rio a Mexican fence jumper. Classy. John Cena will also be choosing the stipulation for his match at Over the Limit tonight on Raw.
I’m not gonna lie. I like watching the Raw divas matches because I really, really like watching Kelly Kelly. But regardless this week’s match was decent, albeit short. It was a tag match with Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly vs The Bella Twins. It actually finished this time before Kharma Kong comes out. This time Eve at least tries to attack here with little effect, then Kelly runs away leaving Eve to Kharma’s pretty awesome finisher.

The next match is a repeat from last week. We get to see Mason Ryan face off against Kane once more. Like last week, its a pretty good physical match but Raw will burn us out on it pretty quick. Not to mention it ends with Nexus interference. Again.
Our next match is another weekly Santino beatdown. At least now he puts up a little fight, playing a great role as jobber which is desperately needed. I really like Zigler. He’s pretty talented as was evidenced by his dropkick to Santino’s face followed by a Zig Zag to effectively end the match.
Let’s face it: Alex Riley is a bitch boy. He’s an ameoba like the Miz said. After getting berated by his boss again, Alex Riley goes to the ring and challenges John Cena to a match. Cena of course obliges the poor idiot with a match. In classic Raw fashion, the match lasts not even four minutes. He gives him a five knuckle shuffle, two attitude adjustments and the STF. Sorry A-Rei.
Once again we get more Michael Cole vomit-shit talk. I don’t know how else to describe it at this point. Seriously? How classy with him throwing the fact that Lawler’s mom died in his face after Lawler challenges him to a match.
The next match is refreshing change, as we get Kofi Kingston vs Jack Swagger in a U.S. Championship match. This is the most decent match of the night so far and after a simple distraction from Jerry Lawler, Kofi retains his title.
The best part came after the Kingston win when Lawler get a hold of Cole’s tie through one of the hole’s in front of his glass box and proceeds to bash his head against the glass repeatedly. Jack Swagger then accepts the match on Cole’s behalf. Please let it be their last match.
The Triple Threat match was a bit boring to me, but it was better than the other matches, even the U.S. Championship match. But wouldn’t you know it: Miz wins with some cheating bullshit once again. This guy reaks of credibility. Cena then comes out to announce his stipulation at Over the Limit is that the match will be an I Quit match. This goes to show the originality we are dealing with here in the WWE. Cena will have an I Quit match at Over the Limit, just as he did with Batista at the same pay per view a year ago. Lame. Suck it. Overall this was a pretty lackluster and terrible episode of Monday Night Raw.
By the way. Tomorrow the Maxim Hot 100 comes out and Kelly Kelly made the list! Make sure to pick it up to see which number she is!
