Gambit Removed From the 2016 Roster

Gambit has had a rough start from the get go. From fumbling around with directors to unhappy actors prior to any sort of production, Fox’s would be golden-child was looking like it may be more of a dud than anything else. However, while we have a bit more of a wait now for the Channing Tatum vehicle than before, it seems to be a blessing for the production of this film.

Gambit was originally slated to be released in the fall of this year, but has now been officially taken off the 2016 roster and is, we assume, being put on the 2017 one. Thankfully, with the success of Deadpool, Fox was able to give Gambit a bit of breathing room as production hasn’t even started for the film.

Nintendo Power Glove Returning For The Playstation?

“Now you’re playing with power!”

Or so the kids of 1989 thought when this (then) futuristic piece of gaming tech came on the market. Featured in the film The Wizard and on the cover of Nintendo Power magazine (where even the mighty Macho Man Randy Savage had one) the Power Glove looked like it had come straight out of the year 2000, it was the ultimate tool for any Nintendo game player.

Tom Hardy Stars In The First Trailer For Taboo

I am a very dangerous man to know.

Tom Hardy goes into the wild and comes back to an even wilder society, now a changed man. Set in 1814, Taboo follows James Keziah Delaney, a man who has been to the ends of the earth and comes back irrevocably changed. Believed to be long dead, he returns home to London from Africa to inherit what is left of his father’s shipping empire and rebuild a life for himself.

But his father’s legacy is a poisoned chalice, and with enemies lurking in every dark corner, James must navigate increasingly complex territories to avoid his own death sentence. Encircled by conspiracy, murder, and betrayal, a dark family mystery unfolds in a combustible tale of love and treachery.

This is the first trailer for the upcoming FX miniseries Taboo.

New Daredevil Season 2 Trailers Feature the Rise of the Hand

You know, you’re one bad day away from being me.

After a stellar freshman effort, the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen is set to return to NetFlix, this time with Elektra and the Punisher in tow. Now less than a month away, Matt Murdock and company will again star in a marathon of NetFlix binge-bait. And while promotional stuff was slow to appear the last few months, it’s now coming out at a remarkable rate. Posters and trailers and the promise of satisfaction for those who doubted that show runners could duplicate the quality of the first season.

New Movies Get A Retro Spin With These Awesome VHS Cover Sleeves

Last year we had some pretty fun retro based movies come our way. Mad Max: Fury Road gave us some awesome action (mostly) without the use of today’s CGI effects, while Turbo Kid had splatter gore lovingly thrown into a great 80s techno-scored storyline. But is there any way these throwback themed movies could get more retro? How about having specially made VHS covers for them? I think that would do it.

The villains have risen on the gritty streets of Gotham.

While Bat boy is working out puberty, Detective Jim Gordon and his partner Harvey Bullock have been busy dealing with the rise and fall of Theo Galavan, and the Penguin has formed an alliance with the Riddler. It’s been a busy first half for the show’s second season. Monday night, the second half of season 2 starts, and it promises plenty more comic baddies before we get our ultimate Dark Knight.
