Even More Governator – Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger

After my first article about the announcement of Arnold’s new animated show the Governator, there’s even more news, including a trailer featuring the animation, Arnold’s voice work and an action scene! The trailer is a full 3 minutes of ANIMATED ARNOLD! Try not to get too excited, because after watching the trailer below you may regret it:

I have to say, I’m a huge fan of the animation style. It reminds me of the Boondocks on Cartoon Network, but the subject matter itself leaves a lot to be desired. I can’t tell if it’s supposed to be a parody or serious. I’d prefer it if the show did indeed make fun of itself, and robot bank robbers (Seriously?) are definitely a clear indication of that.

The other bit of news comes to us via Mania, where it has been reported that not only will there be 52 episodes initially of The Governator and a comic book, but there will also be a movie coming to theaters by 2013.

Will this be Arnold’s first return to the big screen? Or will we see True Lies 2 or a sequel to Kindergarten Cop first? Sound off in the comment section below to let us know what you think of the Governator concept, or what Arnold’s first new movie should be!

4 Ways to Improve Netflix

I love Netflix. I got rid of cable completely and have been living primarily off of the movies and TV shows on Netflix. I was a subscriber to it several years ago, before they added the streaming capabilities, but quit after a few months because I felt like I could never watch enough of the DVD’s through the mail. I came back on board in the fall and have not regretted it.

Hot Wheels’ Colombian Hotness

So there is another great thing to come out of Bogota, Colombia. As part of an advertising campaign for Hot Wheels, they have turned an overpass on the expressway into a loop.

How many times as a kid did you wish that when you were playing with that orange track, that you could be driving on that bad boy yourself. I used to make the most bad ass courses that ran down the stairs and outdoors. The car never made it all the way down the track, but the anticipation was well worth it.

Kirstie Alley Takes a Tumble on Dancing With the Stars

Now before anyone assails me, or says I’m being a jackass for ripping on Kirstie Alley’s weight, I’m a bit of a tubby wubby myself, and she’s a celebrity so it’s ok for me to pile it on. Along with anyone else ripping on her for what happened on “Dancing With The Stars”. Basically her and her dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy took a bit of a tumble. I think it was a little more funny because his leg started to buckle while he was holding her up. So let’s face it. She’s a little chunky and it may have been an awkward angle. Either way it was comical when they went down.

Snooki: College Speaker and “Role Model”

It never fails. Seems like every year we get to see a new group of people make complete asses of themselves, act like total scumbags, and then cash in on it. It seems to be a running message of –“Hey! Be a complete douche and you’ll become famous for it!” and its latest advocate is none other than Jersey Shore‘s Nicole Polizzi. This classless hoggette has been making the rounds for almost a couple of years now, showing you that a trashy idiot can get paid for being just that.

“We can only hope that all of your youth follow the Snookster’s shining example.”
