John Wick 2: Director Announced, Shooting Begins This Fall

One of the surprise hits of 2014 was without a doubt John Wick, starring Keanu Reeves. The action film saw a return to from for Reeves, who hasn’t wowed audiences with a heavy action film since The Matrix, which believe it or not was 16 years ago. 

Then along came John Wick, which was an emotionally gripping story complete with amazingly choreographed action scenes that dropped quite a few jaws when it first released. Directed by Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, John Wick follows Reeves as the titular character, a former hitman, takes his vengeance out on a crime family that murdered his puppy, a gift from his recently deceased wife. Rumors of a sequel followed shortly after the film’s release, and we have some news regarding John Wick 2 after the jump!

More Than 25 Years Later, The Warriors Return to Coney Island

Last weekend, on famous Coney Island in New York, there was  a reunion as stars of the 1979 cult classic showed up at The Warriors Coney Island Reunion for a special screening of the movie at the Surf Pavilion.  Among those in attendance were Cleon, Cochise, Vermin, Fox and Swan.

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea: Bryan Singer Announces His Next Project

We’ve been covering a lot of Bryan Singer news since his triumphant return to the X-franchise with last years X-Men: Days of Future Past.

He is following that up with the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, which promises to end the current trilogy started with Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class by continuing to examine the beginning of the X-Men. So with Apocalypse nearing completion Singer wasted no time in announcing his next directing gig, which is not X-related… or is it?

More Problems For Gambit as Director Rupert Wyatt Walks

Seems like Gambit just can’t get a leg up these days, as we’re hearing yet another report of problems bringing the Cajun mutant to the big screen. Director Rupert Wyatt has exited the film, leaving the Channing Tatum vehicle without a director as the film ramps up towards production.
