Hail Skroob! Space Balls Sequel Is Announced

Mel Brooks has always been the master of satire. From classic comedy ventures like The Producers, Blazing SaddlesYoung Frankenstein and Men in Tights, he has always managed to tickle my funny bone.  But one film in particular always got the giggles out of me more than any other, because it melded my favorite movie with his comedic skills. That was Spaceballs.

Coleco Chameleon: Classic Gaming Company Coleco Making Retro Based Cartridge Console

As high tech as the new PS4 and XBox One systems are, it’s sometimes nice to just kick back with something more historical. That retro based gaming sensation is certainly one of my pleasures and it would appear I am not the only one with love for the retro gaming reviews on YouTube and Steam created games, having a very 80s feel to them with graphics and content.

Now one of the original heavyweights of the golden age of gaming, Coleco has stepped up yet again to announce the release of a new console with a very familiar feel to it. The new console called Coleco Chameleon is a sleek, cartridge based system similar to the Sega Genesis from back in the 90s. The look of it is both retro and futuristic all at the same time. Coleco explains the reasoning behind the creation of the console;

Predator Fans Rejoice! Sequel Script Finally Finished

When you think of hunters, many images come to mind depending on your frames of reference. For me as soon as I hear the word hunter I am instantly transported to a far off jungle where a gang of commandos are fighting for their lives against an intergalactic foe. That’s right I’m thinking about the Predator.

Seems I am not the only one thinking about the character as the dread-locked, voice mimicking “ugly son of a bitch” has never really been away from popular culture. In comic books he has positively thrived, with numerous titles shedding light on the species’ exploits, while fan films like Predator: Dark Ages take the Predator mythos into historical time zones.
