[SDCC] Archer Season 11 Trailer: An Awakened Archer And Premiere Date Reveal

Archer, the Emmy-winning comedy series, is returning to FXX for its 11th season with a back-to-back episode premiere on Wednesday, September 16th at 10 p.m. PT/ET.

The titular secret agent is back in the world we know him best. After getting shot and falling into a coma at the end of Season 7, the animated comedy took on three seasons of dream-induced fantasies which tossed Archer back into the 1940s, an adventure serial on a tropical island, and, finally, into outer space as an intergalactic mercenary. They were fun and a clever way to mix-up many things creator Adam Reed wanted to explore but it’s also equally excited to see Archer and co. return to a somewhat normal setting.

[SDCC 2020] Truth Seekers: Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s Ghost Hunting Series

The Amazon horror-comedy series is about a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures on an online channel for all to see. The show reunites longtime collaborators Simon Pegg (Mission: Impossible – Fallout) and Nick Frost (Fighting with My Family), who have worked together on several terrific projects.

Frost plays Gus, one of two members of a ghost-hunting duo that uncover and film paranormal sighting across the U.K. who stakes out haunted churches, abandoned hospitals, and similar locations using homemade ghost-detecting gadgets. As the two uncover a conspiracy that could threaten the human race, their experiences grow more frequent and terrifying. But what about Simon Pegg? Well, details surrounding Pegg’s character Dave are currently unknown but the trailer might be able to shine a little light on that.

[SDCC 2020] Marvel’s 616 Debuts Two Exclusive Clips From The Disney+ Docuseries

Disney+ released two sneak peeks from its upcoming docuseries Marvel’s 616. Each episode is created by a different filmmaker covering a different topic. The service is set to premiere Marvel’s 616 soon enough and has released a couple of teasers to help promote the new docuseries.

Marvel’s 616 explores how Marvel’s rich legacy of stories, characters, and creators exist within the world outside your window. Each documentary, helmed by a unique filmmaker, explores the intersections of storytelling, pop culture, and fandom within the Marvel Universe. Films in this anthology series will cover topics including Marvel’s world-spanning artists, the trailblazing women of Marvel Comics, discovering the “forgotten” characters of Marvel, and much more.

The popular character actor will return to the role he made most iconic simply with his maniacal voice in the new Chucky TV show. The TV show follows a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.

Bill and Ted 3: Face the Music Release New Trailer But Shifts Release To VOD

Bill and Ted Face the Music has shifted its release plans, and instead will debut on premium video on demand and in select movie theaters on September 1st.

Orion Pictures released the long-awaited first trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel Bill & Ted 3: Face the Music back at the start of June but have released a theatrical trailer to accompany the announcement of the film’s new release platform.
