There has been an awakening.

December of 2015 is still a ways off, but we’re getting a special Black Friday gift from J.J. Abrams. The first teaser trailer for The Force Awakens. It’s 90 seconds of bliss for Star Wars fans who are still trying to wash the taste of the prequels out of their mouths.

The teaser is pretty sweet, but as with most teasers, it’s a little light on substance. That just means we’ll have to wait for the full trailer to get a real grasp on what it’s all about. In the mean time – Sith lightsaber, storm troopers, and the Millennium Falcon! So that’s pretty awesome.

The movie will be out next December, so we’ve still got over a year. This is just the first of many videos we’ll see before then.
