Marvel continues to unveil more from the upcoming Nova series, which promises not only a new character wearing the helmet of Nova, but what looks to be a pretty deep connection with the Guardians of the Galaxy, another group with a new series coming out soon. We’ve taken a look at the first 2 issues from Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuiness, and we have a great new preview of the third issue that show off some great pencils before any of the finishing. Okay. Everyone knows that Marvel is loving their teasers lately. And by lately I mean for the last few years. With the Marvel ReEvolution and Marvel NOW! happening as we speak, the teasers have been coming at us pretty hard for the last few months. This latest round introduced some new books, as well as some creative changes to ongoing series. Usually we cover stuff like this in Comic Rack, but with the amount of info we’ve been getting it gets upgraded to it’s own incredibly well written post!

‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ Season 2 Trailer
First off, let me say that I am not the biggest fan of the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series. I loved the comics, but to be honest, I am in total hate with the cartoon. I don’t really blame the series for that either, since I was such a huge fan of The Spectacular Spider-Man series that anything but will always fall short. I watched the first season of Ultimate Spider-Man in a attempt to be fair to the character I have always loved. I was not wowed. But in the show’s defense, I’m not really the demographic they are going for.

Well, the moment we have all been waiting for is finally here! No, not Christmas. No, not the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. No, not the 9 minutes of footage from Star Trek Into Darkness playing before The Hobbit. I’ll just tell you, since there is obviously a lot of things we are all waiting for right now. It’s the release of the official trailer for Man of Steel! We have only really seen two teasers so far, with very little footage revealed, so this trailer opens everything up a bit more.

JGL Might Play Batman in ‘Justice League’? Sources Say No…
Yeah, I know. That is clearly a picture of JGL as Nightwing and not Batman. Sorry, but I’ve been waiting a while to use that fan-made picture, so deal with it. I also know that I got your hopes up with the title only to immediately shatter them afterwards. You are not alone in this feeling. Earlier in the week some rumors started to fly that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would don the cape and cowl to portray Batman in Warner Bros. upcoming Justice League. Now I use the term upcoming very loosely, because we have all been through this before with a Justice League movie so I’m not putting too much stock into it getting made anytime soon.
