Disney Animation Formally Announces Marvel’s Big Hero 6 in 2014

Fans have been waiting for an official confirmation from Disney Animation regarding some of the Marvel properties at their disposal, and that wait was thought to be over last year when it was announced that the studio was looking at bringing Big Hero 6 to the big screens. Then news on that front died down for a while as Marvel Studios live action films took center stage. Disney has now formally announced that Big Hero 6 will be released November 7th 2014, and released a synopsis along with a brief spot of footage and some concept art. Collider reports:

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Update: Casting News Reveals a Possible Villain, and More! [UPDATED]

News on James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy is in high demand these days, and with much of the team cast already, every new bit keeps adding to the increasingly more interesting part of Marvel’s Phase 3. The most recent casting announcement also revealed a new character who may or may not be a villain in the 2014 film, but we’ll get to that part soon.

Marvel Previews: Hawkeye #9, Avengers #10, Age of Ultron #6, Iron Man #8, & More!

As Marvel NOW! prepares the second wave of new titles, the first continues to move ahead during the huge Age of Ultron event. Bendis and team have promised a universe changing and ‘unguessable’ ending to the series which is sure to impact a lot of the titles, if not all of them. However, not all the Marvel NOW! titles will be caught up in the Age of Ultron rush, as this week’s crop of previews plainly shows.
