Warner Bros. Animation and DC Comics are bringing back some of the most beloved voice actors in history to tell a story long thought to graphic for animation. Kevin Conroy, Tara Strong, and Mark Hamill brought life to Batman: The Animated Series back in the 1990s, and now they are returning to those roles again.
Seems one of the best ways to get dream projects going ahead now is to shy away from the cinema screen and focus on the small screen instead. Marvel removed the bad taste that was left in some comic fans mouths by redoing Daredevil as a gritty Netflix series, Westworld is getting a new lease of life on HBO, and we finally got to see Ash Williams back in action with the brilliant Ash vs the Evil Dead series.
TV stations and streaming outlets have helped to bring back many obscure and cult flicks, and proved they still had an audience. Wet Hot American Summer never stood a chance of getting a sequel made until Netflix stepped in and thank heavens they did! Could Stephen Chiodo’s Killer Klowns From Outer Space be the next in line for this kind of treatment?
